On the insistence of the lawyer of the accused to grant bail to the accused, the court said that bail cannot be granted without the appearance of the accused. The court ordered that if the accused is not able to produce, then her proper medical certificate should be produced in the concerned court.
During the hearing, the court inquired from the investigating officer that the driving license of the accused was taken into custody at the time of arrest. The investigating officer shook his neck and replied in the negative. Aamir Al-Mutawad said that my client has a British license and not a Pakistani one. The court asked him how the British license would be acceptable in Pakistan. The court disposed of the case by ordering the accused to appear before the concerned court on Wednesday.
On the other hand, in this regard, DIG East Azfar Mahesar has said in a statement that in the police investigation, the family members of the accused Natasha have revealed that she has a foreign driving license, but it is not acceptable in Pakistan.
