Canakkale. It was determined that AKP Çanakkale Deputy Ayhan Gider had an illegal villa built overlooking the Bosphorus in Lapseki district, where the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge is located. The illegal villa was revealed with a complaint made to CİMER. The Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization canceled the Building Registration Certificate given to the old building where the villa was located and requested that the building be demolished. It was understood that the AKP MP took over the building for which a citizen had received a planning amnesty and had it demolished, and built a two-storey luxury villa.

According to the documents obtained by Sözcü, on January 25, 20024, a citizen explained the individual parcel and island numbers of 16 separate illegal buildings on the seafront in his complaint to CİMER. For the area where the AKP deputy’s villa is located, he reported that “the parcel, which is a 50 square meter ruined house registered on island 125, parcel 20, has the characteristics of a field and is within the coastal edge line, and has no road, started to be used by reconstructing 150 square meters in 2020.” The complaint was forwarded to the Çanakkale Governorship. The Governorship also requested an investigation from the Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization. In the report they prepared on February 21, the officers included the information: “In accordance with the allegations and complaints about illegal construction activities, the site of the parcel was inspected, and it was determined that there was a reinforced concrete luxury villa structure on the site of the old building for which the building registration certificate was obtained.”

The house that AKP MP Gider bought in 2018 and had a villa built 2 years later was in this condition. He was seeing the Çanakkale Bridge.

The owner of the old building, a citizen named Hafize İç, obtained the right to a Building Registration Certificate with the law passed in 2018. But for the document to be issued, the building had to be built before December 31, 2017. However, it was reminded that the AKP MP demolished and rebuilt the old building after 2017, and it was decided to cancel the building registration certificate. In addition, notifications were made to the relevant institutions to prevent them from benefiting from infrastructure services. Now, it is wondered what Lapseki Municipality, which switched from AKP to İYİ Party on March 31, will do about the illegal villa.

HERE IS THAT CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENT

A zoning amnesty was used for the old building in 2018.

Defense from Gider: I bought the building that benefited from the amnesty

AKP Çanakkale Deputy Ayhan Gider made a statement to SÖZCÜ about the ‘illegal villa’. “I didn’t build the house, I bought it. I bought a house that benefited from the zoning amnesty. “There may have been a complaint about him, I don’t know,” he said. He goes, “Did you rebuild it after you bought it?” To our question, “Sure. These are 30-40 year old houses. “I changed the whitewash, the paint, the window door,” he said. When we reminded him about the cancellation of the Building Registration Certificate by the Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization, he said, “I did not receive anything indicating that the Building Registration Certificate was cancelled.” If it is cancelled, I will object to it. In order for the document to be canceled, that building must be new. The Building Registration Certificate cannot be canceled just because the building’s paintwork or doors and windows have changed!” He just said:

An illegal chicken coop was built on the land next to the illegal villa.

AKP’li The deputy was not content with a two-storey illegal villa. The land belonging to another person right next to the villa was surrounded by wire. A section for poultry houses and small livestock was built in this area. One of the land owners said, “This land is our inheritance. More than one person has a right to the land. Since we were not interested, he translated it as ‘no owner’. “We filed a complaint,” he said.
