The elected governor of Entre Ríos, Rogelio Frigerio, stated this Tuesday that the funds are not yet available to pay the half bonus for the month of December in that province, and maintained that the possibility of paying it will depend on the evolution “of the collection”.

When speaking on Radio Miter, Frigerio explained that “there is an important problem that arises with the ruling party’s decision during the campaign to do politics with provincial resources, and the reduction in taxes that affected co-participation.”

In this sense, the future Entre Ríos president pointed out that “in all provinces there is a lack of salary mass and that complicates the payment of salaries and bonuses, and in our case we have a debt maturity in dollars in February.”

Frigerio argued that “these proselytizing measures were taken at the expense of the resources of the provinces,” alluding to tax modifications ordered by the national government that decreased fiscal co-participation, including the increase in the non-taxable minimum of the Income Tax.

Funds in Entre Ríos

When asked if the province of Entre Ríos has the necessary funds to cover the payment of salaries and half a Christmas bonus for December, Frigerio stated that “according to what the officials of the province themselves tell me, it will depend on how the collection comes and how the month comes.”

Regarding the meeting that the elected governors of Together for Change (JxC) will hold this afternoon with space legislators, he indicated that “we are going to encourage the unity of space, and the 10 provinces (where JxC will govern) we are going to be guarantors of that unity.” .

“We believe that it is very important to maintain the unity of the coalition, whatever it will be called in the future,” Frigerio concluded.
