The Meteorological Department has announced that it will rain in Tamil Nadu for the next 5 days from today.

According to the Chennai Meteorological Department, light to moderate showers with thundershowers will occur at some places in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Karaikal today. Heavy to moderate rains are expected in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry and Karaikal on the 13th.
Thursday (14.04.2022):
Thundershowers will develop at several places in the south, Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tiruppur and Pondicherry and Karaikal districts on the 14th. On the 15th, Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli and districts in the Western Ghats will receive light to moderate rains.
Saturday (16.04.2022):
Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli and Western Ghats will receive light to moderate rains on the 16th. As a warning for heavy rains, heavy to moderate rains are likely in southern Tamil Nadu and a few inner northern districts today.
Moderate to heavy rain is expected in many parts of southern Tamil Nadu tomorrow. For the capital Chennai, the sky will be cloudy for 24 hours. Light to moderate rain is forecast in some places.
