jpnn.com – JAKARTA – Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN) Legal Deputy, Todung Mulya Lubis hopes that the panel of judges at the Constitutional Court can present President Jokowi at the General Election Results Dispute or PHPU hearing at the Constitutional Court.

According to Mulya, it would be ideal for Jokowi to provide information at the Constitutional Court.

“President Jokowi is the head of government. “If the president could be brought in by a panel of Constitutional Court judges, that would be ideal because the responsibility for managing social assistance funds (bansos) ultimately lies with the president,” he said.

According to him, ministers directly related to social assistance, namely Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, and Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, will indeed be present at the Constitutional Court to provide information, but the main responsibility lies with President Jokowi.

“So, in my opinion, if it could be presented, it would be very good, very ideal, and would answer all the questions that are on the public’s minds,” he said.

However, he doubts that the Constitutional Court panel of judges will consider summoning President Jokowi.

“Regarding whether the chairman of the assembly is considering that, I don’t see any signs of that. The assembly may think that with four ministers summoned, that is enough to explain social assistance. “However, in our opinion, if we want to complete it, yes, we should present President Jokowi,” he said.

The MK has scheduled the summons of four Advanced Indonesia Cabinet ministers to appear as parties whose statements need to be heard at the PHPU follow-up session on Friday (5/4).
