The Italian airline ITA Airways is resuming its flights to Israel after being suspended a month ago due to the escalation of tensions in Middle East.
Flights to Israel from Rome will resume in full on Friday, September 5, and will include both outbound and return flights, the official spokesperson for the Italian airline said.
Aircraft will also be able to depart from the airport Ben Gurion from Tel Aviv to the airport Rome-Fiumicinothus confirming the return of flight activities between both countries.

According to the report, flights will start only with one service diurnal daily that may cover from Tel Aviv to the capital of Italy and that later more schedules will be resumed depending on the circumstances, but for now the return of flights is contemplated Nocturnal for October 1st.
The Italian government hopes that the situation in the Middle East will improve before considering the full resumption of flights, and will continue to monitor the geopolitical situation in the Middle Eastern nations.
The war between Israel and Hamas has caused many international airlines to cancel flights to the Middle East, including Ita Airways, which feared a possible terrorist attack by Hamas or retaliation by the Iranians due to Israel’s tensions with Iran.
