On the afternoon of March 8, at Casa Italia Hanoi, the opening ceremony on lighting solutions was held by the Italian Embassy.

Exhibition named “Everything is Illuminated – A Geographical Perspective from Historical to Contemporary,” provides images of 20 significant historical or contemporary buildings after having their own lighting installed.

As a result, visitors can see the works both during the day and at night. Each building can have its own beauty when illuminated.

The curator of the exhibition are experts in lighting solutions – Mr. Gigliola Fosschi (DZ Engineering, Lighting solution creator) and Italian expert on preserving and preserving culture – Ms. Nadia Stefanel.

At the exhibition, the organizers also brought 2 proposed lighting solutions for Doan Mon gate at Thang Long Imperial Citadel and Khue Van Cac at Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam.

Sharing with the press at the opening ceremony, Mr. Gigliola Fosschi said that these two landmarks as well as this work have been recognized by UNESCO, so they are of great importance to the world. Therefore, both need to be preserved and studied carefully.

“We really want to respect history to have scientific lighting, apply a professional perspective to give appropriate results, so that when lighting will keep the beauty and historical values, the culture of the building,” shared Gigliola Fosschi.

According to him, the implementation of lighting works like this will contribute to increasing the attraction for night tourism, admiring this place with a moderate amount of light, bringing the highest aesthetic level.. .

This expert also added that one of the rules when building is to hide the lighting equipment in an invisible place, creating the feeling of seeing natural light. Each different project such as museum, stadium… has its own lighting principles, creating good and attractive effects.
