Palermo: Mafia boss Messina Denaro, who has been wanted for years in Italy, has been arrested.
Messina was arrested while undergoing cancer treatment at a private hospital in Palermo, one of Italy’s famous cities. Messina’s arrest has sparked outrage in Italy.
According to the media, “Messina Denaro was receiving chemotherapy treatment for cancer in a private hospital under a false name. He has been arrested in this situation. Nearly 100 security forces were involved in his arrest. ” reported.
Messina is the head of the Cosa Nostra Mafia, known as Italy’s worst mafia. Messina was convicted of multiple murders and is serving a life sentence. Messina was involved not only in these murder crimes but also in drug trafficking and money laundering.
Messina is nicknamed Diabolic. Diabolic means an elusive thief. True to his name, Messina spent years in hiding, challenging Italy’s intelligence agencies, security forces and police. He has been arrested after 30 years of searching.
