jpnn.com – PARIS – The second quarter-final of the men’s volleyball at the 2024 Paris Olympics, which brought together Italy vs Japan at the South Paris Arena, Monday (5/8) evening WIB ended dramatically.
Japan looked set to win easily after winning the first two sets 25-20, 25-23.
In those two sets, Yuki Ishikawa, Yuji Nishida, and Ran Takahashi went crazy, killing the Italian players.
Italy rose to the occasion. Alessandro Michieletto and Daniele Lavia went on a rampage, giving their teammates more confidence.
Italy struggled to win the third and fourth sets, having to go to the wire, 27-25, 26-24.
