It’s been 10 years since Claudia joined Tess as co-hosts on Strictly Come Dancing… but can you spot the difference between now and then?

It’s been ten years since Claudia Winkleman joined Tess Daly as co-host of Strictly Come and dance.

But as the pair posed for pictures to promote the launch of the twentieth series, due tomorrow night, it felt like not a day had passed.

Ten years later, Ms. Winkleman, 52, still has her signature bangs and dark eyeliner, while Ms. Daly, 55, still has her glossy hair and smooth complexion.

The pair have been part of the Strictly team since its launch in 2004, with Mrs Daly presenting the main show with Sir Bruce Forsyth and Mrs Winkleman who presents the BBC2 spin-off It takes two.

After having impressed BBC bosses, Ms Winkleman was promoted to host the Sunday results show alongside Ms Daly before becoming main co-host in 2014 following the departure of Sir Bruce when he reduced his workload.

Bruce Forsyth co-hosted the series with Tess when it launched in 2004. After impressing BBC bosses, Ms Winkleman was promoted to host the Sunday results show following Sir Bruce’s departure when he reduced his workload.

Mrs Daly said: ‘I have to pinch myself when I realise it’s been 20 years since I started working on this brilliant TV show that I was lucky enough to be chosen to be part of. None of us knew at the time whether it would work, and none of us could have predicted its stratospheric success.’

There were doubts as to whether the show would return this year after facing a series of complaints of mistreatment on the show, which led to the departure of professionals Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima.

The new series starts on BBC1 at 7.20pm with celebrity contestants including Nick Knowles, Paul Merson and Toyah Willcox. Professional dancer Amy Dowden, 34, will return after missing last year’s series while undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
