In the United States, a photo showing a large amount of drugs discovered in a bag with the phrase ‘Not a bag full of drugs’ was released, making it a hot topic.
According to the British daily Guardian on the 12th (local time), police in Portland, Oregon, USA, recently caught a man driving a car that had been reported stolen on the road and stopped the car.
Afterwards, the police who inspected the car discovered that the vehicle’s ignition system had been tampered with, and also found several bags containing drugs in the car.
The police arrested the driver, a man in his 30s, and a woman in her 30s who was riding with him.
They also revealed that a large amount of drugs, including 79 fentanyl pills, a type of synthetic drug, and 230g of methamphetamine (philopon) were found in the vehicle. In addition, cash, a loaded firearm, and scales were found.
Police said the drugs found in the car were inside a bag with the words “Definitely not a bag full of drugs” written in large letters.
The arrested men and women put ‘real’ drugs into ready-made bags made with some sort of jokey design.
After the incident, Portland police posted photos of items confiscated from the suspects, including drugs and guns, on the X (old Twitter) account, which became a hot topic online.
Netizens left comments on “It’s even weirder,” he said, pointing out the frequent drug crimes in the area.
According to the Guardian, the arrested suspects were all charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and drug possession.
