It’s hard to do that these days; Kottayam Nazir revealed the reason for not doing Tamasha films

Kottayam Naseer is an actor who came to cinema from mimicry. Naseer was the assistant director of the Eesho movie directed by Nadirsha. Unlike the characters he has done in films so far, he is coming to Roshak.

The actor has now openly said that he was not interested in playing funny characters. Naseer said that he came to Mimicry without thinking and since then cinema has been his dream.

In an interview with FilmeBeat, he mentioned that he wants to direct his own film in the future and that it will never be a comedy film as people think.

“My innate talent is drawing. Mimicry, meanwhile, came to be very formal. Cinema was my passion.

My house is between two theatres. I grew up watching movies from there since childhood. I came to the cinema with that much desire. But now I get the characters I want.

I have worked as an assistant director in Eesho Cinema. I want to direct movies. I have been walking with this desire for many years. But people expect me to play funny characters. Because coming from Mimicry, that’s what people expect from me.

I want the film I am directing not to be in such a genre. If I were to direct the film, I wouldn’t do it that way. I insist that my film should not be what people expect from me.

And what’s wrong with making funny films, we have to increase the dose after every film. It’s a bit difficult these days.

With the growth of social media, trolls are more common than we think. We will laugh at that. It is very difficult for us to create a story on those trolls and make people laugh. Anyway, I want to do a film. I hope it will happen someday,” said Kottayam Nazir.
