Excavations of hundreds of years old mummies are underway in Peru’s central coastal region of Lima.
In this case, the police received information that a mummy was hidden in the house of a 26-year-old boy named Julio Cesar Permeja from the Puno area. The police have seized an 800-year-old mummy inside a bag from his house.
The police interrogated Julio Cesar Permeja. Then he named the mummy as ‘Juanita’. And he said that Juanita is like my spiritual lover, she is in my room, she sleeps with me. He said I will take care of her.
Julio Cesar Permeja also said that his father brought this mummy home 30 years ago. The police have arrested him and are investigating.
