After the rumors of the last few days and the first confirmation, which arrived yesterday from Davide Valsecchi, now the official announcement from Sky has also arrived: Federica Masolin and Davide Valsecchi will no longer lead Formula 1 for Sky Sport starting from this 2024. The long-awaited announcement arrived, as expected, during the presentation of Sky’s motoring season in an event organized by the broadcaster in which a piece of news that had been in the air for some time was made official: Federica Masolin and Davide Valsecchi will no longer be lead the Formula 1 dance for the 2024 season. From Davide Valsecchi the official announcement had already arrived yesterday when the former driver published a video on his social channels in which he confirms the rumors that have leaked in recent weeks: “ I won’t work for Sky anymore – explained Valsecchi – it’s a shame, but we’ll still see each other on the track” he said, describing his future commitments inside and outside the circus in the video.

As regards the farewell of Federica Masolin, who remains at Sky but who in 2024 will fully dedicate herself to her football commitment with the Champions League, the confirmation came during today’s event, in which the reasons for the change of course.

Replacing the historic couple will be Davide Camicioli, as host, and Vicky Piria, as technical commentator. Camicioli, former presenter and journalist for the Sky group, thus moves to the top series with management from the studio and – for some events of the season – from the paddock, and in this journey he will be supported by the driver and presenter Vicky Piria, who after the experience at Mediaset between Drive Up and Formula E, moves to Sky as the new entry in the Formula 1 group.
