jpnn.com – The puzzle about the new coach of the Indonesian National Team has finally been answered. Patrick Kluivert was officially announced as the new captain of the Garuda Troop.

This certainty was revealed via the official PSSI website, Wednesday (8/1/2024). The man from the Netherlands received a two-year contract.

“Patrick Kluivert has a two-year contract from 2025 to 2027 with the option to extend the contract,” read a PSSI statement.

Kluivert also brought a number of assistant coaches from the Netherlands such as Alex Pastoor and Denny Landzaat.

Apart from that, there will be two local Indonesian coaches who will be assistant coaches.

Before joining the Indonesian national team, Kluivert last coached Turkish club Adana Demirspor.

Kluivert is scheduled to arrive in Indonesia on Saturday (11/1/2024). Then, he will be officially introduced to the public one day later.
