América-MG thrashes Ipatinga

After the thrashing of Pouso Alegre in their debut in the Campeonato Mineiro, América-MG scored another rout this Sunday. The Rabbit won the Ipatinga 6-1, in the second round of the state competition. Mastriani, Cleylton (own goal), Fabinho, Alexandre Egea, Marlon and Renato Marques, from the penalty spot, scored for América. Vico scored the only one for Tigre.
América’s rout was built with two goals in the initial stage and another four in the final. In the first, Mastriani and Cleylton, against, scored (both in aerial ball plays). In the second, Fabinho, Alê, headed, Marlon and Renato Marques closed the score. Vico, with a beautiful finish, scored for Tigre.
With an imposing attack, América leads group C with six points, ahead of Athletic, who has four. Tigre, without scoring, is last in group A.
The two teams will play again next Saturday (3). Starting at 4:30 pm, América will face Itabirito as a visitor, at Independência, in Belo Horizonte. Ipatinga hosts Pouso Alegre, at 5pm, at Ipatinga.
