(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 07 AUG – The educational offering of the only Higher Technological Institute in Fvg that trains expert technicians in technologies for health and well-being is expanding. And with the election of the new Board of Directors – Alberto Steindler extended as president of the Foundation – the ITS changes its name: Higher Technological Institute for Chemistry and New Technologies of Life – LifeTech ITS Academy.
The first example in Europe of a hospital without patients, created only for training purposes, “LifeTech ITS Academy offers new training courses to respond even more to the needs of local businesses, not only in the biomedical, medical IT and telecommunications sectors in the healthcare sector, but also in the biotechnology sector, such as the food, cosmetic and nutraceutical industries, and in the wellness sector” explains Laura Cerni, director of LifeTech ITS Academy.
There are 5 high-level post-diploma specialist courses at the LifeTech ITS Academy in Trieste: courses that train Higher Technicians in strategic technological areas for the economic development and competitiveness of the country. The new CDP Venture Industrial Plan identifies Healthcare & Life Science as one of the priority areas to invest in. And the Life Science supply chain, an important asset for Italy, they let the ITS know.
