ITTF Charts Course for Centenary Year with New Leadership and Landmark 2026 Championships
The International table Tennis Federation (ITTF) concluded its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on November 15, 2025, solidifying plans for a historic 2026 that will celebrate the sport’s 100th anniversary and feature the ITTF world Table Tennis Championships in London.
The AGM, which began in Doha on May 27, 2025, and continued in a fully online format following a decision by the ITTF Executive Board on September 20, 2025, saw the election of a new Executive Board for the 2025-2029 term. The proceedings were managed by LUMI AGM UK Ltd, recognized for its high standards of governance.

Alongside President Petra Sörling, who was re-elected earlier in the year, the ITTF membership elected eight Executive Vice Presidents: Anthony Moore (Australia), Liu Guoliang (China), Paul Calle (Ecuador), HRH Princess Zeina Rashid (Jordan), Wahid Oshodi (Nigeria), Beatrice romanescu (Romania), Prof. Veli Ozan Cakir (Turkey), and Virginia Sung (USA). The selections were made in alphabetical order by Member Association.

I look forward to a professional and fruitful collaboration over the next years.”
