Jang Won-young of group IBE shared her thoughts on wrapping up her 11-month world tour with her entrance into Japan’s Tokyo Dome.

On the afternoon of the 5th, the last day of the encore concert in Tokyo of IVE THE 1ST WORLD TOUR ‘SHOW WAHT I HAVE’ was held at Tokyo Dome in Japan.

After the performance that day, Jang Won-young told reporters, “I said during my debut showcase that I wanted to tour around the world and meet many fans in person, and one of my bucket list items has come true.” She continued, “First of all, it was such an honor just to be able to stand on such a big stage, the Tokyo Dome, and I think it’s thanks to DIVE (Ive’s fandom name) that we’ve always been able to travel to many countries and perform on stage.”

He continued, “When I first heard that we were going on a world tour, I thought it was a story from a long time ago,” but “since we started doing the shows, time has passed so quickly that I didn’t even realize it. In the approximately 11 months that I’ve been on tour around cities around the world, I’ve been able to learn a lot through various experiences.”

Jang Won-young also said, “11 months is not a short period of time, but I am so grateful that our members and DIVE were able to work together and gain strength, and that even though it was our first world tour, we were able to perform on stages like Arena and Tokyo Dome where top artists performed.”

Jang Won-young also said, “I still vividly remember the stages we performed with DIVE, and I think they have become scenes I will never forget,” and added, “I am grateful to DIVE for watching us and loving us, and I will work hard to become an IBE that continues to grow.”

Meanwhile, this Tokyo Dome encore concert is the final performance of Ive’s first world tour that started in October of last year. Through this concert, Ive entered Tokyo Dome, which is called ‘the stage of dreams for singers’, for the first time.

Starting with the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul, Ive previously held a world tour of 37 concerts in 28 cities in 19 countries across Asia, the Americas, Europe, and South America over the course of approximately 11 months. The number of audience members who participated in this tour was a whopping 420,000, proving Ive’s global popularity.
