The group ‘IVE’ will be the first 4th generation K-pop girl group to enter K-POP Dome (formerly known as the Gymnastics Arena), a holy ground for the domestic concert scene.
According to their agency Starship Entertainment, Ive will be holding the encore performances of their first world tour ‘Show What I Have (IVE THE 1ST WORLD TOUR ‘SHOW WHAT I HAVE’ – ENCORE)’ at the K-POP Dome in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul on the 10th and 11th.
The scale of the concert at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul, which was the starting point of the world tour last October, was about twice as large, and both days were sold out. The indoor stadium attracted 11,000 people on both days, but this time, it is expected that around 20,000 people will gather.
Running towards the end of 37 performances in 27 cities in 19 countries including Seoul, Japan, Asia, the Americas, Europe, and South America, Ive has not only filled up arena-level concert halls through their first world tour since their debut, but has also confirmed encore performances in Seoul and Tokyo.
Ive has been improving their live performance skills by touring stages around the world for about 10 months. On the 3rd (local time), they performed 11 songs with a live band for 45 minutes at ‘Lollapalooza Chicago’ held in Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois, USA, and received favorable reviews for their stable performance.
This case Dome stage is a chance to experience the members’ skills, which were clearly proven through ‘Lollapalooza Chicago’, in Korea.
In addition, it seems that during the recent tour, the fan base is expanding, not only by gaining the reputation of ’Super President’ but also by expanding the generation of the fandom ‘Dive’. The performance on the 11th will be live-streamed through the global platform Beyond LIVE as well as offline.
