Kochi: The Perumbavoor Judicial First Class Magistrate Court will consider the application filed by the government seeking permission to withdraw the ivory case against actor Mohanlal on April 25. The court had rejected the government’s earlier application raising the same demand. In a petition filed against this in the High Court, the single bench directed the Perumbavoor court to reconsider the application. The High Court has directed to decide the application within six months. On December 21, 2011, Income Tax officials found two pairs of ivory tusks at Mohanlal’s residence in Thevara, Ernakulam.
