Côte d’Ivoire has been chosen to host the second edition of the FIFA Talent Development Programme, following the great success of the first edition held in 2023 in Morocco.
During a press conference organized recently in Abidjan for the presentation of the program of this sporting event, Armand Désiré Gohourou, executive director of the Ivorian Football Federation, indicated that this program initiated by FIFA aims to offer each young player the opportunity to fully develop by strengthening the supervision of their journey throughout the world.
The FIFA Talent Development Programme is intended to support member associations in exploiting their potential and reducing regional disparities in competitiveness, explained the Ivorian official.
This tournament initiated by the FIF, under the aegis of FIFA, aims to contribute to strengthening the football ecosystem across the world. Each team will have to play three matches.
The matches will take place at the Sports Complex and the National Technical Football Center (CTNF) in Bingerville, according to the following program:
Tuesday September 3:
– Tanzania- Zambia from 2 p.m. at the Bingerville Municipal Stadium
– Algeria-South Africa from 4:30 p.m. at the Bingerville Municipal Stadium
Thursday September 5:
– South Africa – Tanzania from 10 a.m. at the CTNF in Bingerville
– Morocco-Zambia at 2:30 p.m. (Bingerville Municipal Stadium)
– Ivory Coast – Algeria at 4:30 p.m. (Bingerville municipal stadium)
Saturday September 7:
– Algeria-Zambia at 10 a.m. (CTNF)
