“No one is really special,” said Evri Leader in a huge concert at Menorah Hall where he celebrated 25 years of career, “but anyone can be special – if the right person looks at him.”

The successful singer summarizes 25 years of a rich, complex and varied career, and this morning releases a new live album. The album consists of his tours throughout the country, the biggest hits and the songs that became milestones in his long career.

At a concert that took place at the beginning of the summer, Ivri Lider opened the show with words of thanks to the fans who have accompanied him all these years, and said with tears in his eyes: “As a child, I stood alone in front of the mirror with a tennis racket that I played with as if it were a guitar. Years have passed since then. 25 to be exact. I learned on stage That’s a lot of things about myself and you.”

“I recognized here a face I’ve seen for so many years. 25 years of creation. Thank you for coming to celebrate with me… Thank you for looking at me for 25 years and making me feel special. It’s not me, it’s you.”

Words:

This idiot is standing at the water’s edge
He will soon see, it will happen soon
This idiot sits at the water’s edge
Eyes a little open, lest it happen

And in the meantime small fish warm it up
Annoying him, for his own good
And the hands grasp a thing that has good in it
When he meets the street

He does not see when it is good and that everyone is happy
As his face quietly burns
He is blind to see when something is different
That the world is new, that this world is beautiful

Separate static: ‘From two children we became the most successful duo here’

This cutie sits on the waterfront
He’s not worried now, and he probably won’t be
On the water’s edge lies this cutie
Take off your clothes and nothing matters.

He does not see when it is good and that everyone is happy
As his face quietly burns
He is blind to see when something is different
That the world is new, that this world is beautiful

So the head spins from soft drinks
His parents’ friends are taking me to a party in town
And there, apparently,
Enough good reasons to think the world is beautiful
