The Movement of Elites Committed to the Emancipation of Benin (Moele-Benin) party is organizing a seminar to assess its participation in the legislative elections of January 2023, the last week of this month of April. The information was made public through a press release dated Friday, April 7, 2023. The purpose of this meeting is to draw the main lessons from the January 2023 legislative election and to make concrete proposals for the rooting of the party in each constituency. electoral. According to the president of the party, Jacques Ayadji, “Moele-Benin is busy starting over on new bases for its better anchoring in connection with the next electoral contests”. In the same vein, the National Political Bureau plans to organize the second ordinary party congress in July 2023. It must be said that these decisions come after the extraordinary session of the National Political Bureau held on Sunday, April 02, 2023 in Cotonou. This session made it possible to relaunch the party’s activities three months after the legislative elections of January 8, 2023. It was also an opportunity for the participants to discuss the participation of Moele-Benin in this election and to outline prospects. While congratulating each militant of Moele-Benin for the results obtained during the legislative elections, the president of the party, Jacques Ayadji, praised the constant commitment of each other. At the end of the debates, the need to organize an evaluation seminar in the short term was retained in order to make an exhaustive assessment of the participation of Moele-Benin in the legislative elections of January 2023. Thus, the National Political Bureau decided to organize a review retreat during the last week of April 2023.
