India wins:
The first match of the two-Test series between India and Sri Lanka was played in Mohali. In that match, batting and bowling, the Indian team dominated the Sri Lankan team and won by an innings and 222 runs.
Jadeja Aparam:
Jadeja in particular played immensely in that match. Jadeja took 175 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the first innings and 4 wickets in the second innings for a total of 9 wickets. Ashwin, the team’s senior spinner, took 2 wickets in the first innings and 4 wickets in the second innings for a total of 6 wickets.

Jayant Yadav Awful:
He did not take advantage of the opportunity to bat and scored just 2 runs. He did not get a chance to bowl big in bowling. With Ashwin and Jadeja bowling profusely, 3rd spinner Jayant Yadav did not get a big chance to bowl. He bowled just 6 overs in the first innings. Jadeja bowled 11 overs in the 2nd innings as he gave up his bowling quota.

Ashwin has praised Jadeja for giving up a few overs from his bowling quota to Jayant Yadav.
Ashwin’s praise:
Speaking on the occasion, Ashwin said, “Sometimes a 3rd spinner does not get enough spell. It is very difficult. We realized that Jayant Yadav did not get enough overs. Captain Rohit also thought of giving him some overs. Jadeja Jayant Yadav gave up a well-rounded wicket. Jadeja gave up some of his overs to let Jayant Yadav bowl. Ashwin praised Jadeja for saying that Jadeja generously handed over his overs to Jayant Yadav.
