Ravindra Jadeja, who scored a huge century for India, was unbeaten on 175. Rishabh Pund, who batted as usual, scored 96 off 97 balls. Ashwin scored 61 and the goalie scored 45. Jadeja, who played immensely and scored 175 runs, set many records.
He became the 7th highest run scorer (175) in Test cricket. He also dropped to 7th in Test cricket and became the first player to play in three 100+ partnerships.
On the day the cricketing world mourns the death of Shane Warne, who recognized Jadeja’s talent 14 years ago and recognized him as a rockstar, Jadeja’s predicament has proved to be true.
