Ravindra Jadeja was ruled out of cricket ahead of the Asia Cup series due to a leg injury. He later recovered and returned to the team. Meanwhile, Jadeja suffered a recurrence of the injury while playing in the Asia Cup cricket series and withdrew halfway through the series. As this can only be cured by surgery, the medical experts performed it on him.
Jadeja, who has posted about this on Instagram, has mentioned that the surgery has been completed successfully. Jadeja posted a picture of himself in the hospital and thanked the BCCI and the doctors for performing the surgery on me. He also said that he will return to the field soon after trying to recover his physical fitness.

But he didn’t take responsibility and didn’t think the World Cup would come. We are not happy with this move by Jadeja.”
Jadeja has scored 201 runs in eight innings at an average of 50.25 in nine T20Is this year. His best individual score in T20Is this year is 46*. Apart from this, he has taken five wickets with excellent figures of 1/15.
