After nine years, the suspects have been arrested in connection with the gang rape of a woman.
The incident took place in Mulli area under Nelliadi police division.
The police said that the suspect has been arrested in Colombo.
Suspect arrested
On March 07, 2014, a woman was sexually assaulted in Mulli area under Nelliadi Police Division.
At that time, two of the three people involved in the incident were arrested by the police, while the other one was absconding.
The said person fled abroad and came back to Sri Lanka and was working in Colombo when the police arrested him.
