Jaffna. Explosives recovery from beaches – Tamilwin

A cache of explosives was discovered this morning (22) during a search operation carried out by the Navy in the coastal area of ​​Udayapuram, Jaffna.

During this, 22 water gel sticks – a type of explosive and 07 detonators were recovered from the said warehouse.

The explosives are believed to be hidden on the beach for use in illegal fishing. In this case, it is noted that the said items have been handed over to the Jaffna Special Task Force for further legal action.
