Jaffna. Woman found dead at bus station – appeal by police

A request has been made to identify the body of the woman found dead at the Jaffna bus station.

The Jaffna police received information that a dead body of a woman was found at the Jaffna bus station yesterday (29th Saturday).

According to the police, a black woman in her 60s was wearing a yellow shirt, a blue skirt and a green and white saree.

Postmortem

The dead body of the woman has been handed over to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital for post-mortem.

The Jaffna Police are carrying out further investigations in this regard.
