Tanish Ali, who was arrested on charges of trespassing into the Rupavahini Corporation during anti-government protests, has been remanded in custody.
In this case, the Commissioner General of Prisons has said that Dhanish Ali used a smart phone inside the prison.
In this case, Tanish Ali, who confessed to the crime, was transferred to Welikada prison and remanded for another 14 days.
It is noteworthy that one of the leaders of the Kota Kokom protest, Tanish Ali, was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department while he was getting ready to board a flight at Katunayake Airport to go to Dubai.
