DCP South Digant Anand said that a businessman living in Bharatpur had filed a report of kidnapping of his minor son. According to the businessman, on the evening of September 1, his 17-year-old son left the house to eat Pani Patasi. He did not return till late evening. When the family members called on his mobile, it was switched off. On this, the father informed the police. The next day, on Monday, September 2, at 11 am, the father received a call. The caller said that his son was in their custody. If you want him alive, give 40 lakh rupees. The minor’s father informed the police about the kidnapper’s mobile number. The police formed a special team and started the search.

Suspicious car seen in CCTV footage
After getting information about the kidnapping, the police started the search. On scanning the CCTV footage, it was found that the minor was sitting in a car. The police found out the registration number of the car. This car was rented by some youths from a company. The car had GPS installed. Based on the location, the police chased the suspicious car. The police reached Tonk, 100 km away. When the minor and his friends came to know that the police were chasing them, they turned back towards Jaipur and returned. Late at night, they left the car in the parking lot of an apartment. After this, the minor reached his home on his own.

When the police inquired, it was revealed
On the morning of 3rd September, the minor’s father said that his son has reached home safely. He has escaped from the clutches of the kidnapper. Since the police found the matter suspicious, the police started questioning the minor. For some time, he kept telling stories but the police told him about the rented car and its route. The police said that they have come to know everything, so he should tell the truth. Later, the minor told that he himself had plotted the kidnapping. The police detained the minor. Later, his four friends were arrested. The arrested friends include Vikas Saini, resident of Bundi, Rinku Meena, resident of Muhana, Somras, resident of Bharatpur and Ganesh Chawla, resident of Muhana.
