The Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a huge prize money for the T20 World Cup winning Indian team. Everyone in the team is getting a good amount of money. Even without playing any match, Yasaswi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson and Yuzvendra Chahal are getting more than 7 crores.
BCCI has announced a prize of Rs 125 crore for the World Cup winning Indian team. The amount of which is more than 176 crores in Bangladeshi Taka. Out of this, everyone in the 15-member team will get Rs 5 crore or more than Rs 7 crore. This list includes cricketers who have not played any match.
However, not everyone with the World Cup team is getting the same amount of money. Because, the total number of members of the team going to USA and West Indies is 42. According to Indian Express, along with 15 players, the head coach Rahul Dravid is getting only 7 crore rupees.
Besides, batting coach Vikram Rathore, fielding coach T Dilip and bowling coach Parash Mambre will get Rs 3.5 crore. Under the leadership of Ajit Agarkar, each member of the selection committee will receive Tk 1.4 million. Rinku Singh, Shubman Gill, Abesh Khan and Khalil Ahmed who were called up as reserve players will also get the same amount.
India’s 42-member World Cup team including three physios, three throwdown specialists and the rest will get 2 crore rupees or 2 crore 80 lakh rupees. BCCI staff including video analysts, media officers will also be awarded.
