jpnn.com – JAKARTA – PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) stated that it was ready to carry out a test track for the Jakarta Light Rail Transit (LRT) Phase 1B Velodrome-Rawamangun. The trial will be carried out on Monday 30 September 2024.
“We are very focused on every detail of preparation to ensure this trial runs smoothly and meets high safety standards,” said Director of Engineering and Development of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) Group Dian Takdir in a statement in Jakarta, Saturday (29/9).
According to him, the Jakarta Phase 1B LRT construction project continues to show significant progress.
By the third week of September 2024, construction had reached 29.17 percent.
The achievement of constructing a 1.2 kilometer (km) track from the target of 6.4 km for the Velodrome-Manggarai route reflects the commitment of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in accelerating the realization of modern, efficient and environmentally friendly mass transportation for Jakarta residents.
One of the important stages that is being prepared is the trial of the track from the Velodrome Station which has been built with the aim of entering the advanced phase of the project.
Before the trial is carried out, PT Jakpro together with KSO (PT Waskita Karya Tbk, PT Nindya Karya and PT Len Railway System) will ensure the readiness of infrastructure, including lines, track work and other operational support equipment.
All of these preparations are designed to ensure the safety and smoothness of the Jakarta Phase 1B LRT line trials.
PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) will trial the Jakarta Velodrome-Rawamangun LRT line on Monday 30 September 2024.
