Actor Darshan Thugudeepa was arrested in a murder case a few months ago. He is currently lodged in Bangalore Central Jail. Photographs and videos circulating on social media captured inside the jail. After these pictures spread, everyone’s eyes widened. Some of the netizens are saying – ‘Darshan is in love with his son-in-law in prison.’ Some say, ‘Karnataka is playing a joke in the name of law.’
Bengaluru prison authorities have come under heavy criticism as this video of Darshan has spread rapidly on social media. Seven officers were quickly suspended after that. District will be transferred very soon. Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwar gave this information while talking to reporters in Bengaluru on Monday (August 26).
Actor Darshan has been arrested for murdering Renuka Swamy, a resident of Chitradurga. Renuka’s body was recovered at the beginning of last June. At first it was assumed that Renuka had committed suicide. But later there were accusations of murder. A case was filed at the police station on June 9. After that, Darshan’s name was associated with this incident. Allegedly, Renuka had sent obscene messages to Southern film actress Pavitra Gowda. Darshan got angry and beat him. Renuka died because of it.
In his personal life, Darshan has been in the face of controversies several times due to his extramarital affairs. Earlier this year, there were allegations that Darshan had an extramarital affair with actress Pavitra Gowda. And after hearing this news, Darshan’s wife Vijayalakshmi was very upset.
Darshan Thugudeepa made his silver screen debut in 1997. He played the central role in 2001. After that he acted in many movies. Notable movies he acted in are – ‘Majestic’, ‘Karia’, ‘Gaza’, ‘Sarathi’ etc.
