Hamburg – A world-famous musician has once again been won for the next Channel Aid charity concert in Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie: British singer James Arthur (35, “Say You Won’t Let Go”) will be on stage on January 12th of the famous concert hall on the Elbe and thus also collect donations for social projects, as the organizers told the German Press Agency in Hamburg.

The concert will be streamed free of charge via Channel Aid’s YouTube charity channel. With every click, donations will be collected for social projects, as the advertising revenue will be converted into donations.

The 35-year-old is considered one of the most famous voices in recent pop history. According to the information, around 37 million people listen to it every month on music streaming services. For the concert, presented by loudspeaker manufacturer JBL, Arthur will present his songs for the first time together with a large orchestra.

“The concept of Channel Aid is great. Plus this special location in conjunction with an orchestra. This was always a big dream of mine, which is now coming true. “I’m really looking forward to the unique evening at the beginning of the new year,” said Arthur, according to the statement. The Dutch pop singer Davina Michelle and the Spanish singer Leroy Sanchez will also appear in the opening act.

The first live concert in Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie took place on January 5, 2018.
