Dickinson, North Dakota – The Jamestown High School gymnastics team concluded its impressive run at the 2026 NDHSAA State Gymnastics Championships with a third-place finish on Friday, February 27th, at Dickinson High School. While the Dickinson Mavericks continued their dominant streak, securing their 11th consecutive state title and 20th the Jamestown Blue Jays demonstrated strong performances across multiple events, solidifying their position as one of the top teams in North Dakota high school gymnastics. The Blue Jays entered the competition ranked No. 2 in the state, following a second-place finish at the WDA Championships.

Dickinson claimed the championship with a total score of 151.500, while Minot United finished as the runner-up with 143.183 points. Jamestown closely followed with a score of 142.083, showcasing a competitive spirit and skillful execution throughout the team competition. The state meet, hosted by Dickinson High School, spanned two days, with team championships taking place on Friday and individual championships scheduled for Saturday, February 28th. They have been trying to inch closer and closer to catching Minot all season, and they were finally able to pull it off just in time for State.”
