Jamey Chadwell has been on a remarkable winning streak as a football coach for almost an entire year. Since his last defeat on Dec. 3, 2022, in the Sun Belt championship game, Chadwell has been unstoppable. With a record of 43-6 within the last four seasons, he has proven himself to be one of the most successful coaches in college football today, trailing only behind Kirby Smart and Nick Saban in wins during that time. His current 12-0 record in his first season as the head coach of Liberty has put him on the cusp of making a New Year’s Six bowl game.
Chadwell’s success with Liberty has exceeded expectations, even for himself. While he always believed in his coaching abilities, he did not foresee such a rapid rise to the top with the Flames. His transition from Coastal Carolina to Liberty came with significant resources that have translated to unprecedented success.
