jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma’ruf Amin presented the Paritrana Award to 12 Provinces, 11 Regencies/Cities, 3 Villages, and 13 business actors at the BPJamsostek Plaza, Kuningan, Jakarta, Thursday (12/9).

The award was given because it was deemed successful in supporting the implementation of the employment social security program.

According to him, the Paritrana Award is one of the government’s efforts to accelerate the realization of justice and social welfare for Indonesian workers as a whole.

As a result, entering the 7th year of the Paritrana Award, the achievement of universal coverage of social security for workers continues to increase.

Vice President Ma’ruf emphasized that the government is moving to increase universal coverage of Employment Social Security.

He hopes that by 2045, 99.5 percent of workers in Indonesia will be protected.

“The social security protection program for workers is a real manifestation of the state’s presence in providing protection and welfare for workers and their families,” said the Vice President.

“In the effort towards Golden Indonesia 2045, one of the pillars of development to be achieved is human development through employment reform. The government continues to strive to increase universal coverage of Employment Social Security,” he added.
