New Delhi: Namibia’s Jan Nicole Lofty-Eaton has set a new record for the fastest T20 International century in men’s cricket. During the tri-series in Nepal, Lofty-Eaton achieved the feat in just 33 balls, one ball less than the record held by Nepal’s Kushal Malla. His final score was 101 runs off 36 balls which included 11 fours and eight sixes. Notably, the 92 runs he scored from boundaries are the most by any batsman in T20 Internationals. Jan Lofty Eaton was born in Windhoek, Namibia on March 15, 2001. Lofty made his first-class debut on 8 February 2018 in the Sunfoil 3 Day Cup. He was also selected in Namibia’s Under-19 World Cup team in 2018.
