Abu Dhabi: In the context of Kovid, online schooling is once again moving directly to classes. Authorities have set guidelines for students, staff and parents arriving at schools from January 24. Accordingly, all students are required to produce a PCR Negative Certificate within 96 hours on the first day of class.
Follow these instructions
- Teachers and non-teaching staff need the green status of the Al Hussein app every time they enter the institution. A PCR result of 96 hours is also required for admission on the first day.
- Students and faculty and non-faculty staff must fill out a Travel Declaration Form. Those returning to the UAE must show a negative result taken on the first and sixth day.
- Parents and visitors must present the Al Hussein Apple Green Status and the PCR result within 96 hours to enter the school premises.
- School trips are not allowed until further notice. However, taking precautions can lead to sports and cultural activities.
Take PCR early to avoid congestion
Abu Dhabi: The Disaster Management Committee has asked parents to complete the inspection as soon as possible and avoid congestion in the context of PCR mandating school admissions. Earlier in the day, PCR checkpoints in some emirates were experiencing heavy traffic ahead of school opening. It is in this context that the government has urged parents to be vigilant to avoid congestion.
Currently, the number of screenings in the UAE has increased as the number of Kovid cases has increased. Five lakh tests were conducted last day alone.
