## Jangseong-gun Wins National Local Government Job Award for 5th Consecutive Year
Jangseong-gun has once again been recognized for its outstanding job creation initiatives, receiving the National Local Government Job Award for the fifth consecutive year.
The ’National Local Government Employment Award‘ assesses the employment policies of local governments across the nation. This prestigious award recognizes excellence in job creation and promotion initiatives.
Jangseong-gun has maintained its impressive record by securing the Excellence Award in 2020, the Special Award in 2021, and the Excellence Award in 2022-2023. This latest recognition underscores the county’s unwavering commitment to fostering job opportunities.
The evaluation highlighted Jangseong-gun’s successful implementation of regional employment governance and the development of a comprehensive job plan tailored to local conditions.
The county’s initiative to create a ‘Jangseong-type Future Job Industrial Base’ received particular praise. This ambitious project focuses on attracting leading research institutions and fostering the development of local industries.
Beyond industrial development, Jangseong-gun has also made strides in agricultural innovation, supporting young farmers and implementing smart agriculture technologies.
