The nationwide 7-day incidence increased to 470.6 (427.7). More than 72.3 percent of the German population has been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 7,835,451 cases of virus infection have been detected in Germany. This means that the number of cases compared to the previous day increased by 92.223 cases. A total of 115,337 people have died as a result of Covid-19 disease since the start of the pandemic.
The data is based on a statement from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), which receives information from the German regional health authorities. They provide updated information several times a day. Since reporting speed varies by region, there may be deviations and corrections as a result of late reporting.
