North Korea may have launched a ballistic missile, military says
North Korea fired an unidentified projectile eastward on Sunday, Yonhap reported, citing the South Korean military.
According to the agency, Seoul will convene a meeting of the National Security Council after the launch.
Kyodo, citing the Japanese government, writes that it could be a ballistic missile, the same opinion is shared by the South Korean military, reports Reuters.
North Korea confirms ballistic missile launch
The last time North Korea launched a ballistic missile was reported at the end of January. Then Pyongyang confirmed that it had launched the Hwasong-12 medium-range missile.
