Japan: North Korea fired a missile over our territory

by time news

The Japanese Coast Guard reported tonight (Thursday) that a ballistic missile originating in North Korea was launched over the country’s territory – and shot down. This is the second such incident in three days, which came in response to a joint exercise by South Korea and the United States in the South.

On Tuesday morning, North Korea again tested a missile that passed over Japan and fell into the Pacific Ocean. Official sources in South Korea say that it is a medium-range missile: it reached an altitude of one thousand kilometers and a range of about 4,000 kilometers.
