Today, Wednesday, the Japanese national team qualified for the quarter-finals of the Asian Cup after defeating its Bahraini counterpart with a score of (3-1).

Ritsu Doan scored Japan’s first goal in the 31st minute, ending the first half of the match with the “Samurai” leading by an unanswered goal.
Takefusu Kubo added a second goal for Japan in the 49th minute of the match, which was held at Al Thumama Stadium.
Japan’s Zion Suzuki scored an own goal in the 64th minute, reducing the gap in favor of Bahrain, while Ayase Ueda fired the coup de grâce against the “Red” by scoring Japan’s third goal in the 72nd minute.
The Japanese team has become the seventh qualifier to the quarter-finals of the current edition of the Asian Cup, after Qatar, Jordan, South Korea, Uzbekistan, Australia and Tajikistan.
Thus, the Japanese team awaits in the quarter-finals the winner of the confrontation between Syria and Iran, which will be held later today, Wednesday.
