Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka lit the Olympics fire

The famous Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka lit the fire of the XXXII Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo. This ended the opening ceremony of the 2020 Games, which were postponed to next year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Osaka is the winner of four Grand Slam tournaments. She is also the former number one in the world.

The ceremony has already ended. Japanese Emperor Naruhito has declared the XXXII Summer Olympics 2020 in Tokyo open. The head of the IOC, Thomas Bach, spoke to the emperor, who in his speech pointed out the peculiarity of the current Games: “We all imagined this day a little differently.”
