Japanese tuner Liberty Walk is set to turn heads once again at the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon with their latest creation – a widebody kit for the iconic Lamborghini Countach.

After causing a stir last year with their custom widebody Ferrari F40, Liberty Walk is ready to showcase their take on another ’80s legend. A teaser video released by the company gives a glimpse of the modified Countach, displaying the bold new exterior that drastically transforms the appearance of the classic supercar.

The front end of the widebody Countach features a prominent front splitter and a lower fascia with a rectangular mesh covering three openings, giving the nose a boxy yet stylish look. Canards integrated into the widened fender flare create a continuous line from the nose to the wheel well, adding a curvy element along this section.

The sides of the modified Lamborghini boast broader lower sills running between the widened fenders, with an opening ahead of the rear wheels adding to the aggressive aesthetic. The updated body-color vertical strakes in the vents on the upper portion of the tail suggest that this model is based on the 25th Anniversary Countach. The classic supercar rides on dark-colored, deep-dish Rohana Forged wheels with Y-shaped spokes and Toyo tires, adding a touch of modern flair.

Liberty Walk has also replaced the factory wing of the Countach with an even larger one that attaches beneath the rear bumper, along with flush-mounted taillights and a massive diffuser underneath the quad exhaust, giving the car a motorsport-inspired look.

The company’s previous widebody F40 stirred up controversy among enthusiasts and it’s expected that the custom widebody Countach will be just as polarizing among fans of the iconic Lamborghini.

The full unveiling of the widebody Countach is set to take place at the Tokyo Auto Salon, where Liberty Walk will showcase their latest creation and give visitors the chance to witness the stunning transformation of the legendary Lamborghini.
