jpnn.comKENDAL – PT Jasa Raharja will provide compensation to all passengers who were victims of the Rosalia Indah bus accident at Km 370 A of the Batang-Semarang Toll Road, Central Java.
This assurance was conveyed by the Main Director of Jasa Raharja, Rivan A. Purwantono, when conducting a survey at the location of the incident with the National Police’s Head of Traffic Corps, Inspector General Aan Suhanan, on Thursday (11/4).
Rivan ensured that all victims were guaranteed by Law Number 33 of 1964 concerning Compulsory Passenger Accident Insurance Funds.
As per Minister of Finance Regulation Number 15 of 2017, victims who die receive compensation of IDR 50 million which is handed over to their legal heirs.
Meanwhile, injured victims receive a guarantee for treatment costs of a maximum of IDR 20 million, which is paid to the hospital where the victim is being treated.
This compensation is a form of basic protection as a form of state presence towards the community through the role of Jasa Raharja.
“We are also concerned and saddened by this disaster. “Hopefully the families left behind will gain fortitude, and all the victims who are receiving treatment will soon be healed as before,” said Rivan in his official statement, Friday (12/4).
He ensured that Jasa Raharja would continue to remind road users to always be alert and careful.
