The actor Javier Botetwell known for his work in [REC], It o Warren expedienthas approached the Madrid Wax Museum to present a new figure in the Wax Horror Experience, in this case a Templar mummy. Javier Botet presents the new figure that is part of the horror area, Wax Horror Experience, at the Madrid Wax Museum.
The sculpture pays tribute to one of the best-known characters of Spanish Horror, the revived Templar monks who Loving de Ossorio reflected in a tetralogy that began with The night of blind terror (1972).
The new sculpture wears the mask and costume that Javier Botet led in the movie My beloved Monster (2021) by Victor Matellanoa creative documentary that, in a meta-cinematic way, returned to the character of the Templar monk.
The mask and gloves were made by Julio Sari, Estefanía Pasamonte, David García Sariñena and Cuquín Bosqued, and the costumes were made by Beatriz Altarriba and Sandy Montoro, for the short film The last scriptsome of whose footage is also included in My beloved Monster. Wax Horror Experience
The horror area of the Madrid Wax Museum, Wax Horror Experience, is sponsored by the singer Alaskacontaining sculptures by Colin Arthur and sets by Creadelúa Estudio, with artistic direction by Victor Matellano. Now the new Templar mummy is part of this setting created for the Museum.
At certain times of the week, the installation has, interspersed with the figures, actors to make the visit a terrifying experience. The sculpture carries the mask and costume that Javier Botet wore in the film My Adored Monster.
